Some people choose to continue to the birth house or BNB that they rented and and the midwife and team assist with the routine postpartum care, including the new born exam. Some people have planned to stay a few days or weeks after the birth and receive postpartum care and enjoy a ‘baby-moon.’ (like a second honeymoon)
